Hi all been busy lately and have had much time to post.Hunting seems too take up most of the time i have spare.Been having quite a bit of rain and its winter down here.Yet the sun still shines late in the afternoon and its not cold at all. I think the english would think our winter is a heat wave lol. ;D ;D ;D.

This month i teamed up with an old mate and both use the Minelab gpx.Takes a effort to key the right coil and setting to these babies to hum up the goodies.

Well Johny and i have been working the south side of the derwent gully and theres much history here and the deepest gold mine in the world in the 1800,s sit across the gully on the other side. The Victoria Quartz with depth of 4776 feet, thats the main decent shaft, how many levels i just don,t know. The area was home too about 8000 people who lived here and worked from 1851 till the end of hard rock mining here about 1950.

Been a bit lean for gold but still managed the odd piece here and there but as far as relics found just piles of interesting items. so sit back and enjoy the picture show

tinpan PS when i resized pic and wrote the post up it seems i been drinking far to much BEER LOL time for some more ;D ;D ;D
