I just finished "The Chase" It is not a Dirk Pitt adventure more of a historical novel. I give it three thumbs up!

I agree with you, it was hard not to picture all the San Francisco gold falling into cracks in the sidewalks and silver coins being tossed throughout........maybe I need a break from TH'ing ......

Anyone that hasn't read Cussler books out to give them a try, most involve treasure hunting and he gives historical accounts in many of the books.

I helped cater a house party a month ago out in Scottsdale,AZ. I had the chance to meet Clive Cussler at the party. He was a nice gentlemen. Just thought you envy my story.

his last book (the Chase) even though it's not Dirk Pitt, it was still and awesome read

The Chase was a nice change . I've read all the novels he's written and enjoyed them all. Has anyone read THE SEA HUNTERS 1 or 2? I found a sea hunters 2 for 25cents at the library but haven't read it yet.
