Went with me boy Potto a permission he got with a missing cashe of silver. I started of with the 6” because I already had it on. Within 5 minutes I got the 1935 Mercury Dime (my 2nd silver of the year) I was so excited. So I put on the 11” and preceded to pick up trash for 5 hours it was a trash pit, so I went to put the 6” back on and hit 5 wheats within the last hour. Next time I’ll know better, but happy none the less.

I have that curse too. It seems I always find my best find of the day first then spend the rest of the day digging scrap metal. Occasionally It'll be the other way around and I'll dig loads of trash and find a goody right as I'm about to quit for the day.

Cru'dad & I have that a rule no.1, rule no.2 is that OTWBTTC (on the way back to the car) you get the best find of the day. Assuming you didn't get the kiss of death.

Now that we've cleaned out a lot of trash, maybe the second hunt there will be more productive, at least you got a Merc and Wheaties all I scored was several dollars in clad, but like you said, "I'll take it".

Congrats again bro, maybe next time I'll get to do most of the hunting and you can babysit the landowner!!! LMAO for y'all that don't know truth he's a great magician!!! One minute he's standing there with you and the landowner then the next minute he's gone, vanished, just plain disappears!!! LOL
