I almost always seem to find something good when i go with a new guy.
I just met Thomas a week ago through another hunting buddie and he
invited me out to a thousand acre farm today. I found 13 flat buttons
and the half cent, Thomas found a 1828 large cent and around 11 buttons.
Both of these coins were first for us. We also found a thimble each.

Nice Classic head ! Hard to find in decent shape as they used a softer alloy for this series ! 1809 was a low mintage year also ! Excellent find ! MaineRelic
