The Hartford's Box Search 11/17/10

Drove to my son,ScoobaSteves house to split up 10 boxes of half dollars.
The way we work it is He orders the boxes,I put up the money,and we split the finds 50/50. When we split 90's I give Scooba the older coins,as he prefers them and it does not matter one way or the other to me.
Then we drop the bones off at his dump banks.
Today his pickup bank advised him that he can't order anymore halves,which is okay,since he doesn't have an account there,and my banks are better.
Anyway two of the ten boxes were skunks.
Here is the take:
4x WLH
6x Bens
4x 1964 Kennedy's
25x 40"s
Not a huge haul considering that we are on the East Coast, but good enough for me and Scooba.
We may do this again next week or the week after.
Much more fun hunting and dumping with someone else.
Oh ! Before I forget,once again most of the silver was found by Scooba.

I miss my Dad too. He was my shooting partner,my boys too, and would MD with me. Never could beat him in an arm wrestle even when he was in his late 60's.

Looks like CRH Rehabilitation is going decent for you. I mean I'm sure you have other hobbies and find lots more time for them and your family and self.
Thank goodness I'm no where near as deep in as you once were, but I'm already starting the feel the burden just searching a box of nickles or pennies.
I've also kept my eyes open for free metal too, like aluminum and copper, you'd be amazed who throws that stuff away.

Smile. I got my granddaughter hooked (she is 5 on Mr. Jeffersonian nickels), but still waiting for her mom to get involved!

Good haul--knew you would be back one way or another--but with your son, that is the best way.
