The heat is on!

It's getting hot fast now, so I have to be out hunting before sun-up, and be finished by 0900, today I only had enough time to do a short hunt at a local park that's next to a school. Didn't find anything serious, clad coins, three Hot Wheels (1979) that were buried 8" deep, a small pendant, and two rings.



As I was kneeling down to recover one of the rings, a young energetic Irish Setter playfully ran over and knocked me on my rear, when I started to get up he ran up to me again and dropped a red ball in front of me and anxiously danced around waiting for me to throw the ball for him him to retrieve, I guess he tried to get my attention before, but with my headphones on and being totally lost to anything else other than finding the ring, I didn't even know he was there, but he was ready to play with his new found friend, so we played fetch for a while, then he picked up his ball and took off just as fast as he came. Even though I only found a few things, it is a hunt I'll remember for a long time, thanks to my new friend!
