Yes you read correct I pulled the notorious 3 car outta a local school field marked 1988 on bottom . Have not cleaned yet but here's a photo !!

Personally, I wouldn't clean it at all - I would just display it as it is harris1.

Nice digs! I have agree with Vp because lately the last hot-wheels that I found in one piece was stamped 1994 and on cleaning much of the paint fell off. The new ones certainly have less durability it seems to me.
