The Lost Symbol

Dan Brown seems to be doing very well with his newest book The Lost Symbol.

Goes to show you that with enough hype, people will shell out for even a half-hearted rehash of his earlier material. As many have said, "We waited five years for THIS??!!"

Amazing isn't it, people will pay just about anything for entertainment, but pass on anything based on fact.

If you want a good book to read get Darrell Lane's "return of the giant serpent" it's a little hard to find but you'll get way more useful information out of his book than you ever will out of Dan Brown's.

Agreed .

At this very minute, Discovery Channel is running a program about that book and it's subject. Somebody greased somebody's palm to get this 2 hour program put together so quickly.

The author, Dan Brown is a self-described atheist and had too many people believing his fictional first book was actually true. That showed the number of truly stu-pid people.

I just turned the channel to watch the Kirk Russell movie Soldier for about the 5th time. Even being fictional, it's more "factual" than anything Dan Brown has to offer.

i saw that special last night and saw my friend on it. he is also a treasurenet lurker. :icon_thumright:
