The luck o' the Irish followed me home
Prior to my recent UK excursion the oldest coin I had found was a 1903 IH penny, but when I was in England I found several KGs from the 1700’s and a late 1600’s coin. A week after I got back home I hit up the creek where I have found several pieces of a flintlock fusil musket and several other 18th century relics. Wouldn’t you know it-I found a 1749 KGII Irish halfpenny! I hope the good mojo doesn’t wear off soon. I also found the door of a woodburning stove, a big spike and two black glass shards.
