I decided to get out and detect, there is a spot I have pulled tons of finds from by a lake it had lots of activity. Lucky enough to see a Wheat Cent is a good day around this lake. has to be over 20 years at this spot. Today its been hot and I decided,to walk edge of the hunting area thats normally under a few feet of water. ive tiried this one time before best find was a King George Copper slick.
But here is Today I got signals and digging down 8 inches out pops a Wheat Cent shinny to..amazed..to find and little trash..
This is beyond any dout the best Buffalo ive even found the smelly mud water preserved it 1919 Cant go wrong!! I saw the edge of the Barber Quarter in the mush. The pinpointer under water scored me the Mercury dime.
This is the grand total 1919 Buffalo 1907 Barber Quarter,1903 Barber Dime,1917 Mercury Dime, A 1923 Mercury Dime, 1920 Mercury Dime. 7 Wheaties..and eye epied a fake gold ring on way out!
Not a bad day and the treat with the super clean Buffalo is nuts!
They all were dug with a Whites Eagle Spectrum today standard coil.
Thanks for looking.

Sweet! I love that the buffalo isn't all red like usual, it's purty. I got a 1917 today but it was real ugly :(

Probably some old gold rings at that spot

Looks like it was a great hunt. I like that Barber Quarter.

dang that buff is crazy. the mud must have kept it from from oxidizing

Yes thats Exactley what it happend. Its my favorite find out all of them. With all the Nickles ive dug V ones included nothing is even close to how clean this one is. Even after after doing electrolysis STILL cant be compared. Thanks for comment.

That's a great hunt and super keepers. I wish that spot was close to me. Grats and thanks for sharing.
