The nicest looking Indian Head Cent I've ever dug!
Hello!
I was invited to detect on some property in Chiloquin Oregon. A co-worker friend of mine has a friend that owns 80 acres there ~ the land owner was told that they use to bury abandond cars there on the property back in the day. He wanted to see if we could locate them ~ he figures that he could salvage parts off of them if he could recover them. Maybe make some money!
We really didn't find a lot ~ plenty of junk! But the one item that I was excited about was a sweet looking 1906 Indian Head cent! It's the nicest IHC I've ever dug ~ not green and it has lots of detail! I'm sure its not green because of the desert climate there in Chiloquin.
This is the first IHC that I've dug with my new Explorer SE. It sounded just like a zinc cent ~ just a lot deeper!
Thanks for looking!
