Hello! I've been digging away in the back yard and have found lots of fun things I'll share when I get them cleaned up a bit, but yesterday I did find something not smashed to pieces! Its a little bottle with a B in a circle. Its a Brockway bottle. Its marked 1/2 oz and there is also a 15 01 and a number 5 on the bottom. I love bottles. My Mama collected them and she was related to a pharmacist so we have these great bottles from the 1800's. That said, I can't find much on this little guy.

Cool find

There should be some seam lines on the sides. How far up the bottle to they go?

This is a screw cap bottle. I'm not an expert, but I don't think there are any collectable screw cap bottles since they were made so recently.

yes there are collectable screw caps

maybe not many but
Ball Perfect Mason Jar Blue #13 for instance

I'm just trying to find a rough date. I do have Mama's bottles, which Jeff Of Pa, I have two blues...sadly my mason has a crack. Is their a bottle forum? I'd love to show and tell mine and see others.

Bottles & Glass

Not all treasure is gold. Many glass items can be worth thousands. If you've found some interesting glass, post it here!

I think we Have it all :coffee2:

and if I had to make a wild guess I think there is a 72 or 73 on The bottom,
Which may be the Date

Does appear to be a Pill Bottle
