Looks like two Confederate Gardner bullets... is that right?

Looks like 2 dropped gardners a fired 44 and some round balls. Yoir button is probably CW period and is what is referred to as a 4 hole underwear button.
Nice finds

thanks guys!!! yes, i believe they are Gardner bullets. appreciate it. i am still not sure about the spoon...its smaller

Nice finds. I am in Chesterfield and all I found was dog crap, rebar and a Coke can in my yard. :happysmiley: Let me know if you need help diggging up around there!

It's a nice thing when one figures just how much history has passed right under one's feet. ;)

Nice saves!

Looks like an overall buckle, know clue on the age.

Nice finds, looks like you are in the zone and hope to see more post coming in the future. Good luck

I think everyone answered your question in all the replies. You have a mix from 1862-2000. That place held early civil war action and then again in 1864 from March-June (1864) There was a good size battle down the road from you about three miles that took place during the begining of the 7 Days Battles in 1862. You are correct about the British camping out in the area on their way to Yorktown and then American and French army camping there also in 1781. Countless Civil War camps in there also and calvary actions. It is a wonderful and beautiful location. Good luck and keep us posted on your success. HH
