I tied my record for most indian heads found in one outting. 8. They kept coming and coming it was fun.
I hit a cool looking old home in Liberty township. The owners told me that 3 other guys have already detected it but that never stops me. They must have gotten all the cool old silver but I nabbed a lot of Indians that they left behind. The explorer sniffs out those Indian heads. Not one new coin was found at this place. The newest is a 53 wheatie. Even the junk was neat lookin and old.
The guy who owns the home wants one of the indian heads, no problem, I asked if I could take em home and get a picture of all my finds and then I would bring him the Indian head back next weekend for a return detecting trip. He agreed. I just know there are a few more oldies left there.
Check out the 1880, has a hole in it. A Few of em have the full liberty in the head band. I also like the ww1 button, has the shank plus something connected to it. I love detecting old home sites. Some of em are loaded like this one was. Fun stuff. Oh, the dates on the Indians are 1880,1890 (2),1901,1902(2), 1907,1908 no s darn it. Jim
