The old horse shoe I found near Ann Arbor MI with my new 15in Minelab coil

So, the nails are still in this shoe. I have never found a horse shoe with the nails in it before. Wondering how common that is? Let me know what you think? Looks pretty old to me.

I’ve found quite a few that had some nails in them. Yours definitely has more than any of mine.

yea, interesting how like all the nails are present. I would think you would only find 1 or 2 stuck in the shoe.

Well it seems logical, if they changed the shoes then they have to pull the nails, the only real explanation is that the horse died and his carcass rotted away and you found what was left 🤣

Well, I will look for more horseshoes in this area. If I find them, I will let you know asap... I will be waiting until the weather improves. Winter has finally arrived in Michigan!
