Found these in my last 2 trips. The quartz bottom left even though it has some damage along the blade top edge I’m putting it in my frame of whole points. Reason being I believe it’s a
Paint Rock Valley which can be Late Paleo.
I found it in the water also yesterday and thought it was a nice flake. Cleaned them today and realized it was a point.
NW Georgia creek finds.

I don’t know anything about Paint Rock Valley, but I do believe I see what may be (or may not) small corner notches on that piece. There is also (possibly) an unstruck basal nipple, which may have been set up for thinning or fluting.

It’s an interesting point. Always rather find the base than the tip, right?

I see what you’re talking about. It’s not missing much off the top. PRV is like a blade and no notches. I will have to look again at it. Thanks for pointing it out
