The Postmaster's Bag of Silver!!!!!!!!!
guys I've been blessed with a new hunting site and a story. I got written consent to hunt on an old 1890-1910 house here in Russell County. Its complicated though. Turns out it was my Dad's Great,Great, Uncle's house. This man use to be the postmaster for the area way back when. My dad told me when he was a child and his family walked to visit this man's family my Dad and the other children would play all around. Dad said that one of that guys families kids was all the time sneaking a small bag of silver dollars belonging to the old man sneak them outside to play with under the trees!!!!!! How great would that be.........Just wish that I was a more experienced hunter, but oh-well maybe I will be by the time I get done with this site!!!!!!
I found my very first Buffalo nickle on the site today, along with '39-'46 wheat's five of them to be exact. Also found a button looking thing not quite sure what it is,any help appreciated. If anyone is close to Russell County, Ky pm me and I'll take you with me next time. thanks as always guys....
