After finding ancient human hair, what more can a man want.

We spent 2 hours in the morning on a massive field which I have never tried. It had a few promising signs & I can't cross it of as a no hope field just yet. Just need the time to risk a few more hours. I got a rose farthing & a few buttons.

After lunch we moved & spent 3.5 hours on Brooch Field & Copse Field. 2 Roman Sites within a few hundred metres of each other.

I had 17 Roman Coins
2 Roman Hair Pins
Broken 1st C Fibula

Of course on the way back to the car I got the best find of the day, a large Roman Disc Brooch (missing stone).

The brooch looks like much of enamel is left. First a love spell and then womans hair pins and brooch....

Not when it comes to IDing stuff, he is clueless unless its a Roman Coin.
