Anyways, A few months ago when the shed was being cleaned I moved my big plastic bucket that I refer to as "The Rust Bucket (Just a cheap plastic flimsy plastic pot that large potted plants such as ornamental trees are sold in) of big iron finds and junk outside to the side of the shed. I have three of those pots already outside which are filled with dug broken bottles and ceramics from an 1890's trash pit in my yard. Anyways, I noticed that the flower pot that I moved was not draining. Anyways, was able to drain it once every few weeks. We recently had a storm and when I went out I noticed the bucket was full of water again. I also noticed that the relatively nice 1930 MASS Licence plate in which I could read every number and it had no holes was in horrible shape, there were holes everywhere and I could not read almost anything. It seems the water was not kind to it. I think I that I will have to move "The Rust Bucket" inside ASAP.

Well I guess too much rain is better than too much snow? Time to move stuff inside anyway.

Moisture and oxygen is the killer of iron based metal and it doesn't get any better with each cycle. Time to dry and move inside to slow down the rusting factor, sorry to here about the licence plate, sometimes it's just surface rust that can be taken off again with a little work.
