Hit a new permission this afternoon and like our permission before, we got the homeowner out there swinging with us too.
The homeowner has been thinking about getting a metal detector for himself, so we thought we'd help him out. Lol Gave him our crash coarse with the AT Pro and off we went. He was tearing the yard up with his plugs but, it was his yard.
The kid stole the show our last hunt finding 3 silvers to my one, today it was my turn with the silvers.
I started off finding a 43 merc, then a 63-D Washington and ending my silver day with an 43-P OD nickel. My only other finds were a couple wheats and a play coin.
No silver for the kid today. He did find 7 wheats and two older dog tags both from 1947. Funny part about the dog tags, both were from 1947 but, one was from Washington county and the other from Frederick county. We not only live close to the line between Maryland and Pa. We also live close to the county line between two different counties. Still, what are the odds of finding two tags in one yard from the same year for two different counties?
The homeowner only found a couple wheats. He did come close to finding the OD nickel I found.
As I was swinging along I got a good signal and noticed it was in the middle of one of his plugs. I moved aside his chewed up plug and stuck the pin pointer in the hole. No problem finding the nickel but, noticed a fresh hit across the Jeffersons face. Lol
The last pic is of the kids last couple hunts before today's hunt that he can never send me before posting here. Lol
