Detector(s) used
Primary detector is a Garrett AT Pro
Also have a Garrett Ace 250
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Here's the necklace we found at the beach 2 days after I bought my detector. It's the Discovery 2000 from Radio Shack but we actually got it at a pawn shop for $40.00. It also translates to a Bounty Hunter Lone Star. It probably misses a lot but it's still way better than everything I've used before (which were mostly the little $50-60 dollar jobs they used to sell at K-Mart with an on and off switch that beeped when they found metal...period.) My son and I are having fun with it anyway.

Thanks,
Ramapirate

Very cool - having fun is what a hobby is all about, and if you can do it with your son so much the better :)

Plus you get a chance to inexpensively decide whether you really like the hobby or not and down the road perhaps buy yourself a better one sometime!

Nice finds, and happy hunting!!

Let's try that again, I'm not normally this inept.

Nice find... those Bounty Hunters actually don't do too badly. Hard to beat the price.

I think I need to get a better camera or learn how to work this one better.

This neclace is about 22" long heavy chain link found in loose white sand about 3" deep.

Great chain! Congrats.
Keep swinging and digging those goodies!

Smiles!
