...are plentiful but thankfully I finally have the key to let them roam free. This morning was my fifth hunt of the year but the first worth posting about. I went to the park I’ve been SWATted on but I’ve changed gears and made my trips in the early morning. This morning my good targets started out with my first skeleton key (yay!). This park used to be a farm going back to at least 1880 before being a soccer field adjacent to a school (now gone). I’m guessing this is from that.

Within a couple of feet I pulled out a quarter that bounced between 50-80 on the ATP. Even with the bounce, it was still too clear to pass up. I got a 1965 quarter. It came out so clean I thought it must be silver but the effigy was the 1965-1994 effigy but being early in the year, I had forgotten that the first three years of that were silver so I didn’t take a photo [emoji2359].
It was one of those areas where targets are layered because almost immediately I hit a good signal and popped this silver ring from about 4 inches down. This one I didn’t even dig a plug for. Just popped right out.

Nice to be on the board with something worthwhile!
