The smallest of rock shelters

This pottery was found in a tight area about 12"-18" clearance from the ground to the top of the shelter. The shelter only went back about a arms length or so. It's basically a big boulder with not much more around it. This was the only piece there and nothing else. Albany County NY.

I would try a metal detector in that spot as well. May be surprized at what you find.
