It's been a long winter since it turned cold and snowy here December 1st. Three whole months of Brrrrr!
I didn't know quite where I was heading to md this morning but I knew I was going no matter what now that it quit raining. I ended up going back to a appler orchard that I began to hunt last fall. It used to have three 1800's home there in a row so I'm going up and down between the new apple trees. Tons of trash in the area where the houses sat from being bull dozed I guess.
I'm really surprised that I didn't find any buttons but I did manage to come out with three old coppers. First one out was a 1883 Indian Head Cent, then a 1928 Wheatie and finally a beat 1818 Large Cent. I cleaned them a bit but it didn't do much to them.
But tonight its snowy again but I'll get back there soon enough to see what else I can dig up.
Thanks for looking!
