I'm upgrading from my F2. Now I've narrowed it down on these two. I can get a used F75 for a great price, with a 30 day warranty but no manufactured warranty, Or i could get the Fisher F5 new, with the 11'' dd. So whats your opinion? should I buy new or take a chance and hope the f75 doesnt break after 31 days?:( Any opinion is appreciated

start fresh w/ the F5.. go for it

F5. Always go new if you can! And make sure you buy from an authorized dealer.

Already got a great deal lined up!

Good deal. Good luck with it. Post pics of your first find - we all like to drool over other folks finds! :icon_thumright:

Will do!!

If the F75 looks good physically and has a 30 day trial/return warranty and a good price, I'd give it a shot.
Most electronics will fail in the first 6-12 months of use or not fail at all.
A 30 day trial period will give you an idea if it is functioning properly.

I would agree 100%

It's sold :/ going for the f5 with dd

Good call, I always go new for the security. You never know how well a used detector has been treated. Just in time too, as our Michigan tundra is finally going away!

But it's now a issue of standing water in fields. Flooding is huge here!
