When i was hunting in my teen.s now im 57 we never had coyote.s but we got em now in maryland east coast north of Baltimore md.30 mile.s or so in country ..turkey.s also now have come back had quail and pheasant.s but there not here anymore...they multiply fast but are mostly nocturnal here only seen one in the early morning with blood all over it and it was a big one i wouldnt want to tangle with it without a gun it was huge for a yote cheer.s ron
 
Big ole song dog, nice photo get the camera fixed also saw this morning Magna Utah had a 5.3 earthquake hope it all held together out there.

I heard that on the radio in the truck. There was a small one a few years back I recall also.
 
Human beings have been trying to wipe out the coyote population on the North American continent for over 200 years .And all during that time the coyote has learned to adapt to the growing human population .They had grown in numbers by living out of garbage cans and raiding pet food dishes that are left outside overnight
