I can't complain about the weather. Usually its below freezing with bitter winds but its been in the 40s the last 2 days. The snow we do have on the ground has not melted completely but its bare or thin enough in areas with unfrozen ground to dig. I was able to get a quick dig in and found my first silver coin of 2021 and with that find my first silver war nickel. I got a strange nickel type signal about 4 to 5 inches down. I dug it and popped out this very respectable 1943 D silver war nickel.
