Detector(s) used
Flippin Stick n good luck :)
found detecting last week in a area that was lived in till the mid 1940's. when i dug it up i thought it was a silver bar.. nope, lead or pewter, what got my attention was on the side someone scratched or inscribed "HERALD". later when i got home and showed my friend and he said, dude, look theres a name, but he noticed something i totally missed. on the edge its has a name, used for stamping or something. was this a hand stamp, and around when were these used? thanks:)
