Nice coin! I've found 4 dated Buffalos in the past week... 2 1937s, 1 1927, and a 1918-D!

Thats a beautiful coin, something someone would pay at least 10 dollars for, or even get graded by PCGS or NGC, probably an AU.

put it on Ebay for $14, likely from a stolen collection that got spent, burglars tend to be IQ deficient

Which reminds me, I need to put my newly found G/VG 18-D in my album as the one in it currently is an AG-3... loving hearing about people finding coins worth double-digit values in circulation...

Could be... though it might have been just sitting around for a very long time... I've found an AU 38-D (Jeff), 39, 40, and 2 41-D's in the past few months...

I have a Hellmanns jar full of MS nickels I got from my 48 or so "stash" nickels boxes that were in storage since 2009. most are late '70's to mid '90's and flawless. a near full step '60-D came from same box as the '84-P dual CUD, the Buff and the 60-D "bar-0" error, plus a weak '23 & 3 no date Buffs. NICKELS PAY FOR THE GAS to pick up SKUNK halves, have 2 nic boxes and 2 FIDDY CENT boxes to search---wanna bet which boxes have winners??

I say Nickels are the Winners! hehe. They are usually for me at least. :)

Same here... The other denominations don't close to them in terms of success for me. Rarely do I go more than a couple of days without finding a War Nickel, a Buffalo, or a Key Date...

I'll go with the Nicoles...
