so we just closed on our new house todayand I wanted to show my son how to use the metal detector in the yard the snooping around real quick for a signal and out pops this 1964 roosie. let me tell you it's a huge yard can't wait to do the rest. Now back to painting lol

So cool. My house was built in 1895 (former farm house) and lot is an acre in size. After several trips around the yard with several detectors all I ever found was can slaw, nails, a hinge and other unidentifiable junk. NOT ONE COIN!

I'm jealous I've been over the 2 acres my house sits on and I've found some silver but it's been a while. I can't convince the wife that I need to strip 6" of soil off with a dozer yet lol.
