As Sutphin pointed out last week, my copper "coin" was less than spectacular [emoji22]. This week I hit up an old school that appears in an 1877 atlas in the hopes of redeeming myself. I was in a dig everything kind of mood so I've got a lot of nails (some square) to show for it. In three hours of hunting, I came away with just three coins for the night with two of those coins coming from the same hole and I managed to get them both out unscathed.

Two Vickie LCs! I can live with that. [emoji57] One is 1882 and the other is 1884. The other coin (which was the first of the night) is 1933.

Vickie's silver is still eluding me...

Some nice old coins. Congrats

Those Victoria LC are pretty neat.

Congrats on some nice old coins.

Congratulations, really awesome finds

Congratualtions on the nice old coppers! :occasion14:

Thanks. I sure was glad that the LCs came out early in the hunt. It makes it easier to dig nails knowing you already have a keeper or two.

Congrats on some great keepers.

SO HE SAYS, NICE FINDS

Very well done sir. Two large 1800s coppers sounds good to me.

Best of luck to you!

Thanks sutphin, Tom and Washingtonian. Now if only I could figure out how to get rid of that green crap.
