I love horseshoes!

I'm not sure what to do with them.
Years ago I use to get used shoes from the stable and make cute wall hangings out of them, but these look old so I don't want to do that.

....The shoes we find here are from the old stage (san diego-tecate) route . . . 3 or 4 teams a day on stone .... the shoes are truly beat up ! Nice set..... BOOK ENDS !

Mark.

some of the members are very good at cleaning up the old iron like those

I love the pic with the clover around the horseshoes -- nice setting and nice finds! :icon_thumleft:

Thanks for the comments!
I like the book ends idea.
I was going to ask about cleaning them, is there a link to that info?

Nice job! :occasion14:

One of my favorite relics to find! :icon_thumleft:

Love me some intact old iron horse shoes!:headbang: Reminds me I still need to get my electrolysis tank set up!:BangHead: Lucky YOU!!!:icon_thumleft:

I put them in a display case with any other old finds from the property or area.

Nice finds. Horseshoes around here sell very well at craft shows and outdoor markets. People use them for all kinds of crafty things.
