I found this unit while i was searching for a Fisher F-75/ Teknetics T2 which they happen to sell for $536.47 (46% off) Which by the way is the cheapest i have ever found that unit for on the internet....anywhere! I have never heard of this brand, Its called: "Gold Century" but for the price, and the features.... This would make an AWESOME Backup Unit.... $129.39 (Retail is $299.99) and it has a Carbon Fiber lower shaft and unbreakable Nylon connecting hardware and a fully automatic ground balance... not to mention many other features.... Seriously, for that price, I was thinking why not? I was thinking to use a Fisher F-75 as my new main unit, and get this one as a back up unit or for a friend to use etc, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this brand, or had any comments about the unit or brand in general. It seems to share alot of the same main features that bounty hunters have and was wondering if maybe it was made by another manufacturer, kinda like how The Predator Brand Detectors are built on a tested Garrett Metal Detector Electronics Platform.
I would love to know how this unit performs if anyone has ever used them, but either way... for that price It seems that its worth just ordering one anyway.
I just thought i would pass this website along for anyone looking to save a few $$. I am big about who i buy from, for example, I live in FL and Aardvark Metal Detectors is in my neck of the woods, and im concerned about warranty issues, and would be worried i would get a refurb if i was buying an expensive unit... But if i am buying a backup unit or something, Im not worried about throwing 100 bucks into one. That way if a friend comes along, I will have an extra unit on me.
Check these out as well... Amazing prices, But check the availability, as some of them are back ordered.
