This weekend's cent and nickel boxes
Both were very good boxes. I got 26 wheat's from the cent box including 5 pre - '40's - 2 of which were '17's which is now the oldest cent I've found crhing. I also found a lot of nice '09 cents - more than I've ever found in a box - which are keepers for me. I also found 2 x '70S cents but I'm still not sure how to tell the large dates from the small dates. I did really good with the nickel box too - 4 silver & 1 buffalo.
Cent box:
26 wheat's including 5 pre - '40: '17 x 2, '20D, '29, '38
3 S mint copper memorials: '70S x 2, '74S
4 Canadian: '42, '64 x 2, '87
Nickel box:
4 silver: '42P, '44P x 2, '45P
1 buffalo: partial date '29
29 pre - '60 (non - silver) Jefferson's including a '39, '42 (non-silver) & a '48S (mintage 11,300,000)
I also got 3 x 40%ers from $6 in loose halves yesterday from the bank which is good for me because I don't normally go to bank on Saturdays. So it's been a good weekend CRHing.
Btw, I just noticed I've now reached Hero status. Does that mean I should now wear some sort of a cape or something when I'm CRHing or maybe just when I'm posting on this site? Probably not but I truly feel like I'm not worthy. Maybe it means I should start doing more good deeds for my fellow mankind or maybe 500 posts just means I post a little too much.
