Hey guys,
Here are the pictures of this week's finds!! Was mostly at an 1860 farmhouse permission and a quick hunt to an 1825 farm land/fields. At the 1860's farmhouse, lot's of pennies lol, a 1975 quarter and 4 nickels, oldest being 1962 12 sided. Oldest penny was 1940. Oldest find was probably the musket ball. The pennies were really deep...6-7" and the 1981 dime I found was at about 8-9"....leads me to believe they must've hauled some topsoil on that land somewhere in the 1980's. Land owner doesn't know. There is still a large field that needs to be detected which could be free of this extra topsoil
Guess we'll soon find out. Couple of bucket listers for me, crotal bell and the skeleton key. It was a great hunt! Can't wait to go out again !! HH guys!
