Wow, lots of canadian coins. Out of about 150 so far in pennies, I have only found about 15 or so. Probably because NY is close to CA than Nevada!

Yeah, here in Vegas if you get one or two Canadian pennies in $10 worth it's an event. And I've yet to find a Canadian nickel older than 1978.

Today's pre-1960 finds in $35/nickels were sparse -

being close to the border here canadian coins are interchangable with american. Other than they dont work in vending machines. most people only worry about exchange rates on paper.
