I know most of you don’t keep every flake you find. I don’t when creek walking, but I do when field walking.
Main reason: so I don’t find them twice. Here is my tally since 1/1/24.
These all came from 3 small areas in 3 small fields. Quite a concentration IMO. They nearly fill this 9.6 oz coffee container.

I plan to keep hunting. Thanks for looking.👍🏼

That's a good idea so that you don't have to bend over and pick them up a second time. I tell my kids that our backs only have so many bends in life. Usually I toss them back so that they can train their eyes and find them when they happen upon them, but I think now I'll just keep them like you. Looks like you're at a good spot.

That’s an amazing collection. Tons of high quality Burlington flakes but no points. I think you need to expand the areas you hunt. Somewhere, not too far from where you find these flakes, is a major camp site or village site. That’s where you need to be hunting. I’d look near the junction of your nearest river with a tributary.

I carry mine to the edge of the field and toss it so I don’t keep picking it up year after year
