I haven't posted anything in awhile.. really hadn't been finding anything great. I've found a bunch of clad, and a few 40's and 50's wheaties.. but not much more than that.

I HAVE however had good luck with jewelery. (sorry about the bad pics.. camera isn't great for up close photo's)

1st ring I found in Mid March. It's marked as .925 on the inside of the band.

This second ring, I found this past weekend. It is a large ring.. I'm wondering if it's a mans ring? If not.. definitely an Amazon woman's ring. It is marked .925 in the band.

This third ring I found in my own front yard! It appears to be a kids ring... and it has 10K marked on the inside of the ring! My first ever gold piece!

And finally... here is a silver spoon that I found a few weeks ago in a field of an older school. It has the word Sterling on it.. and three markings.. It appears to be of a lion, an anchor and a letter of some kind. I've tried doing some research on the marking. but no luck yet.

And finally.. here is my collection of goodies from last year, and this year!

Is that a date on the silver spoon? Lovely Irish ring, as well.

very nice finds. with the spoon a lion means 925% silver the anchor is for Birmingham in the UK & the letter is the date mark by the style i"d say 1930s - 40s just punch in 925-1000 hall marks & ya should find a great site for dating hall marked silver.
