Thought I had silver

Had a great reading and dug down 6-8 inches and found a quarter and dime in the same hole. Felt and sounded like silver when I pouched them. Got home, rinsed them off and they were a 1966 Canadian dime and a 1974 Canadian quarter. Very strange as where they were found and at that depth. Not silver but interesting. Think I found a musket all at another park but have to do a little cleaning and research. Will post a pic tomorrow.

Your Canadian Dime should be silver. 1968 was the last year for silver coins in Canada. You might double check. Good job
