Here are my finds: piece of an harmonica, 36 cal. round ball, pony shoe, and misc. camp lead, and round copper thing with prongs on the back. Lots of walking with no great find but the experience was good. Not a lot of trash dug.

The copper thing with prongs on back sounds like it might be a button, any markings on the other side? Please post a picture of the other side.

I've saw worse! A bad day detecting is better than a good day at work, I say. keep hitting it there, there's got to be some good targets, maybe even some old coppers and silvers...good luck, Ddf.

I have been fooled a zillion times by horseshoes. They sound so good when they are deep. Still...you found something and something is better than nothing.

Well I'm not going to find anything if I don't get out and swing the coil. Congrats on getting out.

Congrats on the finds. The round brass looks like some kind of horse tack adornment
