Found this on a old farm but no clue what it is. I thought it was a button at first but not so sure now. the bottom of it is hard to see it either has 8814 or 8844 on it. Maybe a telephone pole tag but ours has always been a strip not a circle.

Looks like it says BORO to me. Property line marker?

Get a better pic in natural light on a medium dark, non-reflective surface and we'll take another look.

it says B. Boro 8844 I was told its a old telephone pole marker that's was used before the current strip markers.
