If you had bought it 5 years ago, you would still love it today.

And welcome to Tnet

I love it. Only downfall is it's not good and saltwater, but who really cares :))

I LOVE mine. Great ALL TERRAIN detector. if you plan to use it to hunt in the water, esp fresh water, I recommend it. People say not good in salt water or salt water beaches. I am NOT a beach digger, so I dont care about that. I would not want my daughter to marry a beach digger or even bring one home to dinner. :dontknow:

Its awesome. Pro zero and 5x8" coil. Happy hunting!

Great detector in it's price range. Don't think you'll find more bang for the buck.

Mine paid for itself in clad coins in just 18 months.
It worked flawlessly in fresh water and allowed me to recover and return 3 gold wedding bands.
Plenty of gold and silver jewelry as well as silver coins were recovered in the 2 years that I used it.
Easy to learn and only 3 lbs with the 5 x 8 coil.
Check out the post I put in our Classifieds today.

Awesome machine. it will hold it's own going head to head with machines that cost 3 X's more

Thanks for all the input, I want to play with this old Garrett Coin Hunter for a little bit but I think my next one will be the AT Pro Gold, I like the Gold because it's up at 18 mhz. Thanks again, much appreciated :icon_thumright:

And for those that say, it's not suited for the beach or salt water are wrong. It falses in the wave action, but it is fine and stable in the wet lane. I use mine on the beach 4 days a week.

Had my AT Pro almost 2 years. Great all round machine that routinely goes 8+ " deep in TN/ GA soil/clay. Would not hesitate to buy another. Good luck on your choice.

Its an excellent detector. I don't know anyone that owns one with a complaint.

Also, Hi! (new here)

Since getting my Makro Racer 2, I find myself going back to my trusty AT Pro for when its raining, but also for digging in the woods. It's a fantastic detector, you wont have any complaints.
