Thoughts on these brass (?) pins

Such success was had yesterday :notworthy: I think I'll pester you good folks again today :laughing7:

I think these are brass but I dunno, they came up shining as photo'd, along with some War of 1812 goodies... but also a whole tassel of junk spanning the centuries. Ever notice sometimes you find something weird and you find 2 of them, then no more? :icon_scratch:. ... or is that just me?

Although you would think with those cool buttons....... maybe gun related as they used them on guns brass pins.From the stock to the fireing mechanism,but most I think were iron(pins) & the ones that weren't should be more straight with bradded ends on both ends.Like the pic. below.So my best guess for yours would be a better match for clock parts.IMHO.

Hahaha! My first thought was "cribbage board pegs"..then i scrolled down. Great minds and all that Matt. lol.
