well i got to try my new coil today on my dfx , it is light and i could cover a lot of ground with it , went, to a tobbaco field that we here hit hard over the years ,found a 1880 indian head in bad shape , then i got a good hit at 4 ins out pops a three cent piece in good shape 1866 i like the coil thanks for looking

very nice, especially the 3 cent nickel! how deep were they? do you think the 12" coil is what made the differance?
