Yesterday I hunt for three hour and dug mostly clad. I did find a stripped down pocket watch and some sort of pin. Does anyone have any idea of what the pin is?

Looks like there is a missing part to the pin. It appears to have had something soldered to it's surface at one time. That would probably help ID it if you knew what was on the shield.
