A site that's weaned more than a few current T-Netters too! Now you're on the trail and closing fast.

Good hunt!

Gee, I wonder where you went?? That place has given up so much in the way of silver coinage, in addition to countless wheaties, buffaloes, TONS of war nickels, and even V's. A lot of good memories were born there. It's where I met most of you guys. Anyway, nice finds, hope you can get back out there soon.

Joe

Yeah, that was my second time out there, no silver yet. first time was late last summer, to over grown at that time.

Great finds, you never know what you'll pull from that place. :icon_pirat:

Great Job!
I was at that place 3 or so weeks ago and found a Merc. I went there today and alls I found was some clad that was probably buried by the Rockford gang... Anyway, My first hunt there was a good memory, today not so good. I am glad you found some keepers, so good job.

Nice finds! :icon_thumright: I don't think there are to many secret spots left. I think we are all picking the bones clean finding any keepers that we can get.

REAL NICE PIN!

That's funny. . . I've never been to that spot but if I ever need some flatware, I'll know where to go ::)

That's why I stopped going there. Someone thinks it's funny burying shiny clad over there deep. I found a few zincs buried 8, 9 inches in that field. The way I see it, is that there are so many other places that offer more finds, that I'll let the grumps keep their little campground so they can giggle while burying their clad...while I'm out discovering other places. I don't mind digging clad, but only when it was lost accidentally and not buried with mean intentions.

I love the fact that Kermit has made some notable finds there lately. I hope whoever is spending hours there burying clad and getting skunked see his videos and weep a little.

Joe
