Three LC's, two IH's, and crop of Wheats

That pretty house I posted yesterday, turns out, built in early 1800's. I hunted 5 hours, found a King George 1752, Coronet Cent 1833 and a mystery coin I think is a 1773 date. You look and see what ya think. I'll try and post the date side first then other side (i don't have any reference)
Also found my first 1863 IH cent along with a 1883 IH cent I'll post dates on the wheats later, I think I found seven of them?
Enjoy the pix

Brad

Thanks Dad, Thank you my son Kris, I gave the King George and the Coronet to the owner!

I just pulled that mystery LC out and what I thought was a date is upside down, it reads "America"
It's 27 mm, weighs 8.5 Grams

Damn Treble! Nice work bud.

totally epic day

-Happy Hunting!

Great finds! Great example of the difference between the fatty (copper/nickel variety) IHs and the bronze ones.... in both thickness and composition.

Really nice find's, Brad!!

Can we see a better picture of the other side of the mystery copper? I almost think I'm seeing a chain there?

Specifically in this picture... looks kind of like a chain... My eyes might be playing tricks on me though.... compare it to this. It would be on the side that said America. Don't quote me on this one....just speculating. :laughing7:

Unfortunately the weight seems to be way off... 13.48 grams... (don't think that much would have worn away). but the diameter seems right on.

There you go!

I can see it plain as day

Aren't you as proud as I about are son Abe??? Lol

If I had my way, we all would descend on that place like locust. Serious, acres and acres, there was some military action nearby, not far from where I found my grapeshot.
Another hour and a half from the other party hunt old dude!
