Three tiny silvers today

Well I'm back from Hawaii and had a great time celebrating my parents 50th anniversary ! Got out this morning before the big 4th BBQ and hunted two schools . Nothing all that special but I did find three tiny silver items . Two are pendents and one is a earring . The other item I found I thought at first was silver ! It turned out to be a gold plated clad quarter . It's a 2002 P Mississippi state quarter . Total clad was $7.20 for three hours .

No markings on it .

The plastic case has a crack in it water has got inside .

once in a while someone posts an encased coin. they always strike me as an odd find, seeing as how they are supposed to be put up in someone's collection rather than outside on the ground

You come back kick'n it up a notch with, gold clad, clad! Nice finds, silver, "gold", and a copper compact case, and various assorted items!
Now see what happens when you don't take your detector, your hands are empty, and what do you do? You fill them with food! At lest you enjoyed yourself!

It's been tough here holding back your fan base so there were no ring riots on the beaches and in the parks while you were gone! I hope your detector is not mad at you for leaving it home, that could be a problem!

I'll tell you it was killing me not hunting ! I had to just get out yesterday ! Love this hobby or sickness Now I just need to find some rings

The gold-plated quarter is pretty unique ... was this something the US Mint did only for Mississippi in 2002?
