With mostly junk quartz watches anymore at the trift stores with drained batteries, I saw this one was running and priced at $12.95. I thought it was a bargain at that price and I feel like I could maybe get as much as fifty bucks out of it if I ever get around to selling stuff again. Ain't nothing like JD's been hauling in, but one I just couldn't pass up and I thought it was a nice looker also. I've never owned a Citizen Eco-Drive before, so I guess I'll see if it keeps running on sun or artificial light as they claim.

That’s a great find at a great price. These watches don’t have batteries but rechargeable capacitors. Some are solar and others have a rotor .

This ones kinda slim, so its probably solar. Pretty unique practical design these Eco Drives are. Heck I always thought they had a backup battery.

Great find for the money, congrats! :occasion14:

I'd say that was a good deal for $ 12.95.

My husband has had a Citizen Eco for about 8 years and it still works great. He leaves it on the windowsill when he isn’t wearing it, to charge it up. Those watches are beautiful and pricey. Congrats on an awesome find
