I rarely find anything more than silver, but I happened to stumble across this 14k white gold ring for three bucks. Surprised how they missed this one, since most sterling rings are marked as such and are priced from 8+ dollars.
My guess on the stone is that is that it's a faceted quartz.
My only other gold find at a thrift store was a 10k gold ring I paid around 10 bucks sometime last year. I did come across a 14k marked ring, but that happened to be either plated or fake, cause the copper underneath was showing. Gave that one away.
